Abstract

Moroccan women played a pioneering role in the political field in the Kingdom of Morocco. They rejected French colonial policy towards Morocco after the Protectorate Treaty was imposed in 1912. They also opposed the policy of the Berber guerrillas, which was one of the foundations of French colonialism in Morocco. It had a key role in organizing the national resistance, gaining boundless support, and forming cultural alliances with males. In addition to its contribution to trade union work and raising its voice in the necessity of establishing national parties in Morocco, which took it upon themselves to fight French colonialism until the country's independence was achieved in 1956.
