The Abbasid era is considered one of the eras that witnessed development and renewal in all fields of life, whether political, social, cultural and literary. Abbasid poetry witnessed a remarkable development in its themes and a renewal in its structural and stylistic structure, due to the mixing of Arabs with other peoples, which led to the exchange of cultures and ideas on the one hand, and the development of the poet's imagination and aesthetic taste on the other hand, In addition to the emergence of many poetic purposes to open the doors of the Abbasid Caliph for these poets to organize in all poetry arts, and the topic of place occupied the largest part of their systems and description of nature in that era. Their poems reached the pinnacle of creativity and sophistication, because they were linked to their emotional conscience and psychological state, As well as expressing their ideas, from here I liked to study the place in Abbasid poetry and after perusal and consultation, and the frequent occurrence of the place in its various types in the poetry of this poet whose style is characterized by accuracy and ingenuity, and his employment of multiple methods, whether linguistic or rhetorical to describe multiple places.
