Effect of the Blackboard Summaries on the Development of Physics
Main Article Content
Abstract
The current research aims to know the effect of the blackboard summaries on the development of scientific Fourth grade students attitudes toward physics.
The research sample consisted of (80) students from the fourth year of scientific study in the prep of the Al-Risala Al-Islamia for boys, selected intentionally. They were randomly distributed into two equal groups in a number of variables: ( physics subject scores for the third intermediate grade, the tribal trend toward physics, the ages in month, IQ quotient, the education level of the parents). The experimental group consisted of (40) students and the control group of (40) students. To achieve the research goal, the researcher adopted the research tool, which is the measure of the trend towards physics. The scale was variable after it was presented to a group of experts and arbitrators, and its reliability was obtained by way of re-testing. Its stability factor reached to (0.83). After that the experiment was applied by the researcher himself, starting from Sunday 3/11/2019 and until Wednesday 15/1/2020. After applying the tool dimensional and collecting data and statically analyzing it using the t-test for two independent samples, the researcher reached the following result: there is a statistically significant difference between the average development of the trend towards physics among the members of the experimental and control research groups and in favor of the experimental group and accordingly the researcher concluded a number of conclusions including the possibility of applying the strategy of summaries in teaching physics with fourth-grade scientific students and that there is a positive response and interaction among fourth-grade students with strategic steps and made a number of recommendations and proposals.
