Shadow Fiction and Qara Goz in the Arab and Turkish Theaters: A Comparative Study

Abstract
Turkish literature is one of the ancient literatures whose roots extend back to ancient times, as popular literature is found in myths, stories, tales, popular examples, plays, and the literature of tributes. It is due to the convergence of cultures and one religion, which is Islam, between the Arab and Turkish peoples, as well as common political conditions, colonial factors and immigration, we find that Arabic and Turkish literatures meet with common heritage arts and references to some extent, including the ancient folk theater, and as it is known that comparative studies center around the interactions between different cultures, study the art of shadow imagination and Qaraqouz in the Arab and Turkish theaters can be studied side by side. It is no secret to the student of Arabic literature and its history that shadow fiction is one of the folklore arts that enjoyed great popularity and won the admiration of all classes of society in the Middle East throughout the ages.
