Main Article Content
Abstract
The purpose of the study is to determine the effectiveness of a proposed program based on educational pillars for fifth grade students to acquire literary concepts. The educational program was created by the researcher, which also included the study tools represented by the program and the test of acquiring literary concepts. He worked on both the validity and reliability tools. The researcher chose Al-Ameen Secondary School, which is affiliated with the Department of Education in Salah al-Din Governorate, Iraq, for the study, and then the fifth scientific grade. After completing the preparation of the program and its study tools, the researcher implemented the program, in which the topics of the program were taught to the experimental group in (16) lessons, beginning on Sunday 1/10/2017 and ending on Sunday 4/12/2018, with two lessons per week to learn about realization. The objective is acquisition of literary concepts in the subject of literature and texts by scientific fifth-grade students.
The teacher of the chosen class assisted in administering the post-test for literary concepts to the experimental and control groups on Tuesday, December 6, 2017, and the final results were monitored within this paper. The study includes the following findings: there is a statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups in literature and texts in the post-test to acquire literary concepts among fifth-grade students in favor of the experimental group, where the calculated t-value is greater (5.76). With an international t value of (00,2), a level of (0.05), and a degree of freedom (58). Because of the importance of modern programs in achieving scientific goals, the researcher advocated for the use of modern programs in teaching literature and texts. It is very important to consider educational programs to be one of the most important means of developing students' intellectual and scientific abilities, as well as their understanding and knowledge. The researcher suggested implementing the program at various educational levels like conducting teacher training courses and presenting the most important educational programs and how to put them into practice .
