In the name of God, praise be to God, and prayers and peace be upon Muhammad, the Messenger of God, and upon the family of Muhammad, his companions, and those who followed them in charity until the Day of Judgment. The science of grammar is for the sake of Arabic sciences, by which the tongue is preserved from the melody in speech, and by it the Book of God Almighty and the Sunnah of His Messenger - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - is understood. Grammar, its divisions and branches, so in the books of Usul al-Fiqh they dealt with the science of grammar and touched upon many of its issues, due to the fundamentalist’s need for the science of grammar in deducing jurisprudential rulings. Among these scholars is Ibn Imam al-Kamiliyah, who touched on the importance of grammar and its issues, in his book (Taysir access to Minhaj al-Usul (Al-Mukhtasar), including a special chapter for studying the letters that the diligent needs in deriving rulings; This is due to its occurrence in the evidence of jurisprudence, that is, the Qur’anic verses and the hadiths of the Prophet, and he singled out a chapter for them. He mentioned their meanings and the differences between the grammarians of Basra and Kufa about them, and mentioned his opinion on these letters and his preferences. This research is extracted from my master thesis .
