Abstract

The aim of the research is to know "the effectiveness of the four pillars strategies and the hot chair in productive thinking in biology for the students of the second average". The study employs an experimental approach, and an experimental design with three groups. One leading group is taught in the traditional way and two experimental groups studying the first group according to the strategy of the four pillars. A second group, studied according to the strategy and the hot chair, and a sample consisted of (60) students from the second average class students and they were distributed equally to three groups. A research tool was built and it included (25) paragraphs article and objective. It is presented to elite experts and specialists, and a researcher made sure of the validity of the test, the calculation of its stability, and of the discriminatory powers and factors of difficulty of paragraphs, as a researcher taught two experimental research groups, the first based on the strategy of the four pillars and the second with the strategy of the hot chair, while the study group studied it according to the method After completing an experiment, the final product thinking test has been applied to students of experimental research groups and a dimensional control. After analyzing the results of students ’answers and statistically processing them using appropriate statistical methods, research results have reached the effectiveness of both the four pillars strategy and the hot chair strategy in product thinking more than His usual way. In light of the research results, the researcher recommended several recommendations, including the need to use new strategies to teach life sciences to alleviate the difficulty of a subject on some of his requests, and to conduct more research on the four pillars strategy and the hot chair strategy, given the lack of Arab studies from them.
