Self-Motivation and its Relationship to Personal Responsibility among University Students

Abstract
The current research aims to identify:
1- The level of self-motivation among university students.
2- The level of personal responsibility among university students.
3- The relationship between the variables: -
Effective study skills and their relationship to personal responsibility.
the research sample consisted of university students Tikrit, and the sample reached (600) male and female students, including (300) students from the scientific and human specializations and (300) students from the scientific and human specialization. The researchers built three metrics that measure self-motivation, effective study skills and personal responsibility among university students, and by using the statistical analysis program SPSS The results showed:
1- University students possess a medium level of personal responsibility.
2- There is a positive correlation between self-motivation, and personal responsibility.
In light of the research results, the researcher formulated a number of recommendations and proposals.
