Self-Motivation and its Relationship to Effective Memorization Skills Among University Students

Abstract
The current research aims to identify:
1- The level of self-motivation among university students.
2- The level of effective Memorization skills among university students.
3- The relationship between Self-motivation and its relationship to effective Memorization skills.
the research sample consisted (600) male and female students of university students Tikrit, and the sample reached, including (300) students from the scientific and human specialization and (300) students from the scientific and human specialization. The researcher built three metrics that measure self-motivation, effective study skills and personal responsibility among university students, and by using the statistical analysis program SPSS The results showed:
1- The poor level of university students in the two variables of self-motivation and effective Memorization skills.
2-There is a positive correlation between self-motivation, effective Memorization skills.
In light of the research results, the researcher formulated a number of recommendations and proposals.
