Main Article Content
Abstract
Prince Abdul Qadir's contributions are numerous and diverse, and his writings continued to resonate both during his lifetime and after his death. Extensively documented various aspects of his qualities and life, certain sources are primarily influenced by political perspectives, while others are predominantly shaped by the principles of Sufism. This paper seeks to explore the humanistic perspectives of Prince that defined his existence, particularly through his interactions with both friends and adversaries. This research is divided into two chapters. The first focusses on the significant rebellion that happened in Lebanon and Syria in 1860, involving Christians, Muslims, and Druze. It examines the underlying causes and events, as well as the role of the prince during that period, who defended his position with a conviction deeply rooted in the principles of the Islamic faith. The subsequent chapters presented a fresh interpretation of several significant messages from the Prince, particularly those pertaining to sedition.
