Abstract

The Arab-African, security, social, and economic relations between Egypt and Libya have significantly increased the interest in intervening to address the situation that arose in Libya after the downfall of President Muammar Gaddafi's dictatorship. Due to the internal unrest and political changes in Egypt following the January 25, 2011 revolution, including the ousting of President Hosni Mubarak, both Egypt and Libya faced similar challenges in terms of security and politics. Both countries were plagued by the fear of security chaos and the rise of armed groups. Therefore, it was imperative for the leaderships of both nations to establish a unified stance in order to enhance their relations and stabilize the political and security situation.
