Abstract
This research deals with Abu Shamma Al-Maqdisi’s poetry. He is an encyclopedic scholar in a sense that he took from every knowledge an abundant share, and thus excelled in it. This is confirmed by his scientific productions as well as the testimonial narratives revealed by scholars and writers about him. In addition, Abu Shama grew up in an era of scientific and literary enlightenment. His literary productions, as such, were widely scattered in many books that we aim to collect and verify.
