Abstract

There is no doubt that the Arab-Islamic conquest of Persia had several cultural and societal effects in the society of Persia, and among these effects that the conquest left behind was the cultural effects that emerged in the linguistic and religious aspect. This was clear in some of its rules and letters, as well as the decline of its influence and use.  The Arabic language influenced Persian poetry and performances. Some of the rules of poetry consist of meter, rhyme, as well as images and Arabic poetic metaphors. However, we find them in many Persian poets, and that seemed clear after the Arab Islamic conquest. As for the extent of their impact on Persian society, which was divided into classes. Each class has its own customs and traditions, especially the customs of marriage, while Islam came to erase this classism from society and treat people equally and just.
