Abstract

Optimism is positive. With this word we abbreviate the meaning of optimism, as it is hope, future joy, and a positive outlook for everything. Optimism is the light that illuminates our way in the darkness, and helps us to live a life full of love, and makes us realize our dreams and hopes, and to look at life with passionate dreamy eyes of what is better with a decent and carefree life, all of the lights and contentment of Allah’s judgment and power, far from despair and pessimism.

It is the outlook on life that keeps a person looking at the world as positive, or keeping his personal status positive. Optimism is the philosophical equivalent of pessimism. Optimists generally believe that people and events are originally good, and most cases go in the end for the best, which is a tendency to look at the best side of events or conditions, and expect the best results, and there is a famous puzzle that depicts optimism versus pessimism through questions. He gave a mug of water, filled with half of its area or capacity, while the question is which half do you see? Full half or half empty? Conventional wisdom predicts that optimists will respond, "the full half”, and pessimists respond with the "empty half" on the assumption that "perfect" is considered good, and bad is "empty."
