Main Article Content
Abstract
In recent years, social networking sites have been considered one of the fastest means of spreading and receiving the news, and its forms and methods have varied, as these sites have contributed to influence values and ethics by addressing individuals and groups, directing them and instilling virtuous social values in their lives, and search engine sites and public references have evolved. The websites of newspapers, magazines, etc., and these sites have recently turned into a tool to influence young people in particular, and on society in general in terms of political, social, economic and moral terms, as they work in one way or another in influencing individuals, negatively or positively.
The research approach required that two studies be divided, a conclusion and a summary in both Arabic and English, as it came in the first topic: the meaning of Islamic values, their characteristics and their importance, so it came in the first requirement: the meaning of Islamic values, and in the second requirement: the characteristics of Islamic values, and in the third requirement the importance of Islamic values, It came in the second topic: The importance of social networking sites in instilling Islamic values, so the first requirement came in the importance of social media sites in instilling the values of abandonment, that is, abandoning bad habits of theft, usury, and the second requirement came: the importance of social networking sites in instilling positive values such as chastity , Honesty, and purity.
And our last prayer is that praise be to God, Lord of the worlds, and may peace and blessings be upon the last of the prophets and messengers, Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace.
