Abstract

    The impact of a recreational program to reduce addiction to the Internet for middle school students:


 The current research aims to build a recreational program to reduce addiction to the Internet, and the research was applied to middle school students in Salah al-Din Governorate Center for the academic year (2018-2019). The program’s implementation sample consisted of (60) students who “showed an increase” in addiction to the Internet .


   The program consisted of (12) sessions presented to a group of experts in the field of education and psychology, and most experts agreed on the validity of the recreational program after making the amendments that they proposed, and the program was applied to members of the experimental group in the first course of the academic year 2018-2019, after which the researcher applied the addiction measure On the Internet on the members of the two groups for the purpose of verifying the effect of the recreational program. The researcher used the appropriate statistical means to reach the results that showed the effect of the recreational program in reducing the addiction to the Internet among the members of the experimental group. The researcher made a number of recommendations and proposals.
