Abstract

This research aims to identify: (The impact of the Adelson model on developing the motivation to learn among Fourth grade students in literary texts .To achieve the goal of the research, the researcher developed alternative hypotheses and the results were as follows:
.1There is a statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group who are studying literary texts according to the Adelson model and the average of students of the control group who study the literary texts according to the traditional method.
.2There is a statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the average degrees of students of the experimental group who study literary texts according to Adelson model and the effect of growth and increase between the pre and post test in the measure of motivation towards learning and in favor of the experimental group.
The researcher followed the experimental design with each of the experimental and controlling groups using pre and posttests. The researcher has prepared behavioral goals for the scientific subject, and in light of these goals, 50 teaching plans have been prepared for each of the two groups, after verifying their validity by presenting them to a group of experts and arbitrators. The researcher rewarded the students of the two research groups statistically in a number of variables, including (the time age calculated In months, students ’grades in the Arabic language for the previous year, the IQ test, the parents’ academic level, and the pre-test scale for both research groups in the drive to learningThe researcher built a measure of motivation towards learning, which will be in the final form of (39) paragraphs. In light of the results, the researcher reached a number of conclusions, including the possibility of applying the Edelson model to fourth-grade students in literature and texts .The researcher also recommended that teachers be provided with a book that includes all modern methods of teaching, including the Adelson model for choosing the teacher the method that suits it.
