Abstract
Infectious or transitional diseases arise when contaminated foreign bodies enter the human body, or these foreign bodies are germs, viruses, fungi or parasites. These bodies are transmitted through infection from one person to another or contact with any person or thing that may be a carrier of the disease. There may be symptoms that appear on the body, including high body temperature and accompanying aches, in addition to other symptoms differ from one person into another and the type and severity of infection. It is possible to catch an infection that causes mild symptoms and therefore does not require treatment more than receiving home treatment. On the other hand, there are serious cases that may cause death.
At this time, the results of the research showed that (2263) of them were males, with a percentage of (64.07) of the total infected, while it reached (1264) for females, and a percentage of (35.77) of the total infected in the city center of Mosul.
