Abstract

The aim of the research is to know the effect of the differentiated learning strategy on the acquisition of historical concepts by the students of the literary sixth and the development of their scientific survey.


The research community, which represents secondary and middle schools within the General Directorate of Salahuddin Education - Department of Science Education, was selected for the research. The sample was consisted of 70 students from the fifth literary grade students from Ibn Al-Atheer School intentionally. The sample was divided into two groups: an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group included 38 students who studied according to the differentiated learning strategy. The control group of 32 students studied according to the usual method. Parity was made between the two groups in some variables such as (chronological age, previous achievement, intelligence level, parents' academic achievement), which the researcher believes can affect the dependent variables with the independent variables
