Mrs. Aisha's sermon in mourning for her father A study in light of textual casting
Main Article Content
Abstract
Textual studies are a recent trend in linguistic studies and a qualitative shift in the field of text analysis, in which the limits of analysis limited to the sentence have been exceeded into the space of analyzing sentence sequences or text according to new and multiple data.
Textual casting is one of the most important criteria for judging the textuality of any text or speech, and because of the importance of this criterion in modern textual studies, it was chosen to be a field of research that includes the application of casting mechanisms and means to an Arabic linguistic text represented by the sermon of Mrs. Aisha, may God be pleased with her, in eulogy for her father, the friend, Abu. Bakr, may God be pleased with him.
The research here seeks to achieve some goals, including moving on the path of development and innovation in the linguistic field, by reviewing the latest developments in modern Western linguistic studies. In addition to the desire to show the extent to which Arabic texts can be applied to modern linguistic achievements, and the impact that this has in demonstrating the aspects of convergence between the Arabic and Western linguistic heritages alike.
