The Effectiveness of an Educational Program Based on the Social Constructivist Theory in Developing the Global Mindset among Students of the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences

Abstract
This research aims to “the effectiveness of an educational program based on the social constructivist theory approach in developing the global mindset among students of the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences.”To determine its effectiveness, an experimental design was adopted, which is of the partial control type, which is a design with two pre- and post-tests The sample was intentionally selected from the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences in the College of Education for Humanities at Tikrit University because the researcher is one of the teachers in this department. The sample consisted of (307) male and female students distributed in three sections. The researcher rewarded the two research groups in some variables (the chronological age of the students calculated in months, the equality of the general average scores of the students in the experimental and control groups for the previous year, intelligence scores, gender.(. The Global Mindset Scale was prepared and consisted of (35) items, and its validity, reliability, and strength of discrimination were confirmed. The study concluded that the results reached by this research showed the positivity of the independent variable (the program based on the social constructivist theory approach in developing the global mindset among students of the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences in the foundations subject Education
