The Attitude of the United States of America towards the British Evacuation Negotiations from Egypt 1953-1954
Main Article Content
Abstract
The United States has a great impact in urging the Egyptian and British sides to reach an agreement on the issue of the evacuation of British forces from the lands of Egypt to ensure the stability of the region to protect western interests and to keep away the Soviet ambitions to have influence in the Arab region. As the United States of America worked to protect the region and link countries, the developing countries have policy by providing them with financial support, in addition to try to involve these countries with defensive alliances that make the countries of the region politically subordinate to the Western countries and in order to fill the void that could be after Britain’s withdrawal from Egypt.
