Figurative Language in the Verses of Polytheism: A Rhetorical Study
Main Article Content
Abstract
Rhetoric is considered the core of Arabic language reflected in the Holly Quran because of its beautiful techniques, eloquent phrases, accurate notes, brief words and the sound that corresponds at the end of the letters, the harmony among verbs and nouns, and the shift among tones and tenses. Qur’anic texts contain the core meaning of polytheism in its context that springs from the religion and other fields of art and knowledge. This study tackles this art to reveal the connotations and meanings indicated by the Qur’anic texts, and to show the aesthetic and creative impact in it with the intention of affecting the recipient.
