Main Article Content
Abstract
The current research aims to know the effect of the Gardens of Ideas strategy in developing future thinking for fourth year students in science. The research presents a number of variables, and to achieve the goal of the research, the researcher adopted the (Younis and Jardo, 2021) test for future thinking. Its validity, recognition, and stability, and after statistically processing the data using the T-test for two independent samples, the results showed that there was a statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the experimental and control groups in the future thinking test in favor of the experimental group, as well as the presence of a large effect size for the strategy Gardens of Ideas on the variable of future thinking. It is the most important recommendations of the research training science teachers on how to employ the Ideas Gardens strategy in their teaching of the subject through the annual training programs for male and female teachers carried out by the Preparation and Training Department in the General Directorates of Education in all governorates. The research proposals study the impact of the ideas gardens strategy in developing future thinking in different educational stages and for different subjects
