The researcher chose to address the criticisms of sheikh Udayma AL – mubarrad in his brief book for his position on the frequent Qur’anic readings. The present paper consists of the following sections: Introduction: First: the concept of frequent readings. Second: Sheikh Udayma and Al-Mubarrad and the position of  Al-Mubarrad from the readers and readings, and the composition of the readers.

Then the study came into three sections: The first: its extension to the Qur’anic readings and the reciters.

The second is that it is preferable to recite one seventy over another.

The third: the Qur’anic readings that he composed or did not follow.

These three sections were followed by a conclusion stating the most important findings of this research.
