Abstract

The aim of the current research is to identify the evaluation of the physics book for the third intermediate grade in the light of science processes from a teacher’s point of view:


The sample of the research consisted of (100) teachers and teachers of physics for the academic year (20-2021), and they were selected according to the available random sample. It is basic and integrated distributed over (61) items and it was characterized by honesty and stability, which was calculated by re-testing and the Alpha-Cronbach method, and the ratio reached in addition to the psychometric characteristics represented in the discriminatory power, and then it was applied on (20/7/2021) in presence, then the data was analyzed using the test T-shirt for one sample and the results showed:



  1. The frequencies of basic and integrated science operations skills amounted to (429) times in the physics book for the third intermediate grade

  2. The average point of view of physics teachers regarding the extent to which the physics book evaluates the basic and integrated science processes (119,773)

  3. There is no difference in the statistical significance at the significance level (0.05) between the arithmetic averages and the hypothetical averages (comparison, classification, stability, use of numbers, abstraction, procedural definition, interpretation of results). There is a statistically significant difference between the achieved arithmetic averages and the hypothetical average during operations and in favor of the achieved averages (observation, measurement, prediction, conclusion, formulation of hypotheses, communication, determining and controlling variables).


The researcher came out with a set of conclusions, recommendations and suggestions .
