Main Article Content
Abstract
This research aims to reveal a veteran poet who lived part of his first life in the pre-Islamic era, and the other part in Islam. Many researchers at this time were not mentioned on the Sunnah, and his mention in literary and historical sources was also little if compared to other poets who had them A presence in every club, and we found for our poet Dhabi’ bin Al-Harith Al-Burjami poems transmitted in the books of literature and language, as mentioned with the companions of the ninth class of ignorance in the book Tabaqat Fahul Al-Shu’ara by Ibn Salam Al-Jamahi. Which prompted us to collect his poetry and extract it from its original assumptions, and put it in a collection of investigations that facilitate the researcher to refer to and benefit from it In addition to that, his poetry was famous for hunting and expulsion and some poetry of wisdom, and he was a malicious poet with a bad tongue, and a lot of evil. From us in the service of heritage, and in the interest of presenting something that serves our heritage, believing in the old saying (and since what is not comprehended by all does not leave its greatness), we have endeavored to collect what was left of the poet’s poetry and present a picture in which he was sent again, even if it was incomplete and incomplete. I offer what is useful in the service of science, and God is the guardian of success.
