Abstract

This research is a quick presentation of the life of Al-Hafiz bin Hajar Al-Asqalani, in which the researcher dealt with part of his biography and fiqih views in the chapter on efficiency and choice, so the research was divided into two chapters: The first chapter: the life of Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani, and it includes four sections. The first one dealt with his name, surname, nickname and fame. The second is on his birth and upbringing. The third addresses his wives and children. Fourth focuses on his death.The second chapter: his fiqih views in the chapter on efficiency and choice, and there are three teachers. The first is on the ruling regarding the efficiency of the spouses. The second dealt with the ruling on a person who embraced Islam with two or more than four women under him. The third addresses the ruling on rescinding the contract due to fault.
